InterviewQuestionnaire
This is the raw material for your Next Up Nashville feature in Billboard Music World. Answer in your own voice — full sentences, half sentences, stories, tangents. The best quotes almost always come from the tangents.
Before you start
- Your answers save automatically in this browser as you type. You can close the page and come back — nothing is lost.
- Skip anything that doesn't fit. There are 140 prompts here on purpose. Nobody answers all of them. Twenty great answers beat a hundred thin ones.
- Two things are required: a link to three photos and a link to your music. Everything else is yours to pick and choose.
- Hit "Send to Eclectric Records" at the bottom when you're ready. You can send more than once — come back, add more, send again.
- Your draft lives in this browser on this device. Switching to another phone or laptop? Download the backup file first and load it on the other side.
Two things we can't run the piece without Required
1. A link to three photos
Put at least three photos in a Google Drive folder and paste the link below. Dropbox or WeTransfer work too.
Name each file with the photographer's credit. That credit runs in print next to the photo, and an untitled IMG_4471.jpg means we can't use it.
Name files like thisWillowGray_LiveAtTheBasement_PhotoByJaneDoe.jpg
If you took it yourself, write PhotoBySelf. Shoot us high resolution — press photos get printed.
2. A link to your music
Spotify, Apple Music, or YouTube — whichever is live.
Nothing released yet? Send a live performance or a recorded video from your socials instead. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, a phone video from a writers' round — anything we can actually watch and hear.
Send it in
This delivers your answers straight to Eclectric Records. You can send more than once — if you come back and add to it, just send again and we'll use the latest version.
