ARIEL Jade

Singer / Songwriter / Producer
Introducing

A singer, songwriter, and producer making real songs for real people — and one of the most compelling new voices in modern Americana.

Ariel Jade is an electrifying independent country-Americana artist, multi-instrumentalist, content creator, and entrepreneur based in Nashville, Tennessee. Mississippi-raised and classically self-made, she writes, records, and releases everything from Studio X Nash — her indie studio housed inside the legendary RCA Victor Studio A building on Music Row. She is also the founder of indie label Jaded Productions and the host of the industry-insider podcast Music Row News, further cementing her presence as a Nashville multi-hyphenate creative force and one of the most compelling new voices in modern Americana today.

Her story begins in a bluegrass barn in North Carolina, where her parents first carried her as a wide-eyed toddler. She has been chasing that feeling ever since. Ariel picked up her first guitar at the age of eight, earned her first paid stage at nine, and won the Mississippi State Fair at age twelve — spending the winnings on her second instrument, a mandolin. A tenor banjo followed at age fourteen. In 2008, her parents gifted her a 000-42 Martin guitar she affectionately calls "Baby." Seventeen years later, Baby still plays every single show she performs, onstage or off.

Grounded in Mississippi Blues, Bluegrass, Celtic, Folk, and Classic Country, Ariel Jade developed her sound the long way around. She graduated high school at sixteen, earned a BA in English Writing magna cum laude, and capped it off with a Master's in Education summa cum laude by age twenty-three. She then taught for nearly five years — high school government and economics, junior high art, sixth-grade ELA support — before pivoting to professional e-sports competition in Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Call of Duty, and earning a coveted Twitch Partnership that quietly built her a direct line to tens of thousands of engaged listeners long before she ever recorded a studio album. That audience, it turns out, was paying close attention all along.

In late 2024, she stopped compartmentalizing. Ariel took over Studio X Nash, moved her full operation into the historic halls where Elvis Presley and Dolly Parton once cut records, and on December 10th released her debut album Honky Tonic — ten original songs of classic country bones wrapped in modern sass and hard-won grit. Longtime collaborator Wood Newton called it "a true reflection of Ariel Jade's heart and soul. She opened up and shared what's going on in her life, and turned it into these songs." Billboard Music World praised her 2025 follow-up single "Crazy Loves Company" as a boundary-pushing statement that remains true to her artistic roots. Her second 2025 single, "Divorce Around Here," doubled down on the heartfelt storytelling and rootsy Mississippi pulse that define her writing.

Today, her original music is in active rotation on RebelTV (Roku) and Billboard Music World. She tours regularly around Nashville — The Bluebird Cafe, City Winery, The Vue Showcase, Nations — solo or with her full band Smashgrass, blending "rockgrass" undertones with lively, audience-interactive shows that revitalize classic vibes for a brand new generation of listeners. Her shows are known for their warmth and raw energy, her instrumentation for its range and grit, and her songwriting for its unflinching honesty and lived-in Mississippi soul.

What ultimately makes Ariel Jade unforgettable isn't the catalogue, the credits, or the credentials. It's the philosophy underneath it all. Writing songs, she says, is her therapy — and she shares them with the world in the honest hope they do the same quiet work for the listener on the other side of the record. She calls it real songs for real people. Every single line has been earned, and every single note carries its weight.
